Expeditor
Who you are:
The expeditor is a liaison between the kitchen and service teams and works in the kitchen alongside both cooks and service team members. This expeditor facilitates the process of delivering dishes from the kitchen to the guests in a timely manner, following proper steps of service. This position also helps to ensure that all food leaving the kitchen meets preparation standards and is correct to the order and any dietary modifications. This expeditor needs to be comfortable working with both groups of people under stressful, high volume and fast paced conditions.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the kitchen pass and runners during service periods
- Support the kitchen and service teams as needed to uphold the highest quality of food, presentation, service, and timing, to create memorable moments of hospitality for our guests
- Track timing on all tickets and checks final plating for proper presentation and modifications, if any
- Maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and stocked station and work area at all times
- Listen and communicate clearly and effectively with all team members
- Embody a professional demeanor in a very high stress level position
- Support in the service training of all new team members in the food runner positions
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed and other duties as assigned to support team objectives and operational success
What we need from you:
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar position and environment
- English fluency required
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs

Red Agave, the latest concept from the Jersey Shore Restaurant Group, is a flavor-forward casual Tex-Mex dining experience. Red Agave will focus on blending flavors from Mexico and the American South border regions.
These culinary traditions celebrate the coming together of family and friends to eat, drink, and celebrate life.
Red Agave will welcome guests into a lively main dining space lined with oversized banquettes, an open bar, and an additional bright and airy dining room. Red Agave’s cocktail program will focus on traditional Tex-Mex spirits, including tequila and mezcal, while introducing other global influences.
